Paleface Adios was a great pacer from 1972 to 1981. He retired at the age of 11 yrs. He won 108 races, including The Miricle mile, in which he he was also placed 5 times,and twice the Lord Mayors cup. He was owed by Shirley Pike from Temora NSW, and was driven by her husband, Colin pike. Pale face Adios was a people's champion, and when he retired the town of Temora turned out to celebrate his golden career. Paleface Adios died at the age of 17 in 1991 from a suspected snakebite.
